This full-time position is focused on providing comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation services within our state-of-the-art facility. Work Environment

The position is located onsite at our advanced Rehabilitation Center in Winter Haven. We foster a collaborative atmosphere where team members support each other in delivering high-quality patient care. Our facility is designed to promote an active healing process and includes technology-enhanced treatment areas, patient assessment tools, and comprehensive therapeutic equipment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care by assessing patients' unique needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing effective interventions tailored to their rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable caseload that allows for adequate time with each patient to monitor their progress and adjust treatment accordingly.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and educational resources, to enhance mobility and function.
• Emphasize non-surgical alternatives and promote holistic care practices, aiming to reduce medication dependency while facilitating recovery through physical activity.
• Regularly motivate and encourage patients through their treatment plans, fostering a positive and empowering recovery atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively (experience with Web PT is a plus).
• Continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patient feedback, advancements in therapy techniques, and emerging research.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possession of a valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• Demonstrated mastery of various manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices and a commitment to continuing education and best practices in rehabilitation.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and motivate patients effectively.
• Proficient in EMR documentation, specifically Web PT, to ensure accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting, specifically with orthopedic patients.
• Familiarity with the latest research and emerging trends in physical therapy.
• Experience utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
