Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care by developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical goals.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, devoting the necessary time and attention to each individual to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Exhibit expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Employ cost-effective, non-invasive treatment options that empower patients to regain movement, while emphasizing alternatives to medication.
• Create and monitor comprehensive care plans that integrate various therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to the patient's condition.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs that promote patients' physical health, tailored to their unique needs and goals.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation through effective communication and support throughout the entire recovery process.
• Enhance patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, ultimately leading to improved overall wellness.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless integration of services and holistic patient care.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of all therapy sessions and interventions to support continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation after surgery or managing chronic conditions. You will have the chance to work with a diverse clientele, taking special care to address their unique goals, challenges, and conditions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida (FL) with a clean record, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong proficiency in developing and implementing exercise programs that deliver results.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.
• A thorough understanding of contemporary physical therapy practices supported by current research and best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient facility, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation, is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate patients and foster a positive therapeutic alliance.
• Familiarity with sports medicine principles and practices to benefit our athletic population.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
