Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in Winter Haven, Florida, which is known for its collaborative and forward-thinking atmosphere. You will work alongside a diverse team of healthcare practitioners, including occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and rehabilitation aides, all of whom are passionate about patient care. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop customized treatment plans that focus on restoring mobility and functionality.
• Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring adequate time and attention are allocated to each individual for optimal care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, designed to support recovery goals.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Utilize EMR software, specifically WebPT, for accurate documentation of patient care and therapy sessions.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures, fostering a collaborative approach to health and wellness.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, focusing on the holistic improvement of their physical health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, enhancing treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve an outpatient clientele, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, and surgical procedures. Our patient population varies in age and physical ability, allowing you to utilize a wide range of manual therapies and rehabilitation techniques to meet diverse needs. You will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their independence and confidence as they work toward their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a strong preference for candidates possessing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrable expertise in orthopedic care with practical experience in outpatient settings.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription tailored to individual needs.
• Familiar with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient documentation.
• A commitment to staying updated on the latest research and advancements in physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist, specifically in an outpatient clinic environment.
• Experience working with a diverse patient base, including adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
