Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at One Way Recovery Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical therapy needs through clinical assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including strength training, manual therapy, and functional rehabilitation exercises.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, including clinical services delivered, billing procedures, and communication with healthcare providers and families.
• Complying with all regulatory standards, ensuring adherence to HIPAA requirements and billing/coding mandates.
• Building strong rapport with patients by explaining treatment plans clearly and involving them in their care processes.
• Providing education and guidance to patients and their families about recovery processes and exercises to promote long-term health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a wide range of clients, including individuals recovering from surgery, athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, and elderly patients with mobility issues. You will be expected to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of pediatric and adult populations alike, employing creativity and compassion to inspire each patient's recovery trajectory.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Physical Therapist position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapy License to practice.
• A robust understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
• Experience handling diverse patient demographics, including pediatrics, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
