Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally attuned mental health assessments to gain an in-depth understanding of each patient’s unique history and personal experiences.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to address mental health concerns and enhance emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care and optimal treatment outcomes for patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, utilizing your training to effectively support individuals in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with both legal and ethical standards, ensuring that records reflect the care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on serving diverse patient populations, including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, members of LGBTQ+ communities, and those who have recently immigrated. This role requires a deep commitment to understanding the unique challenges faced by these groups, allowing you to provide the most effective and appropriate care tailored to their individual experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, alongside a demonstrated commitment to cultural competence.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy using approaches that are inclusive and sensitive to cultural dynamics.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to manage high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect with a diverse array of patients and build trust.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer proficiency.

Compensation and Benefits\n
