Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to measure the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their challenges.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that reflect their unique goals, needs, and personal preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively support clients in managing their mental health.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, helping them understand mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to nurture their mental wellness.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, revising treatment plans as necessary to ensure they remain aligned with evolving needs.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer integrated care solutions that meet the multifaceted needs of our clients.

• Stay informed of the latest research and treatment advancements in the realm of mood disorders to continuously inform and refine therapeutic practices.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of client sessions and treatment interventions, adhering to legal and ethical standards within the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Heartlight Counseling Center, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing various mood disorders. These may include individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other related conditions. Your ability to empathize and connect with patients from various backgrounds will be vital in supporting their journey to mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A Master's degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.
\n
• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid foundation in individual therapy practices.

• Strong knowledge of California law and ethical guidelines relevant to mental health practice.

• Clearance of a current background check through the FBI and DOJ, and a recent TB test within the last six months are mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Heartlight Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
