Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups in collaboration with trained birth workers, fostering a supportive community environment.

• Engage actively in community outreach activities designed to promote holistic wellness and build a strong network of support among birthing individuals and families.
\n
• Participate in clinical consultations and multidisciplinary co-learning sessions, enhancing your skills and contributing to the growth of the treatment team.
\n
• Complete all necessary clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner to meet regulatory and organizational standards.
\n
• Provide direct services, including behavioral health assessments, counseling, and case management tailored to the specific needs of Black birthing families.
\n
• Consult with prenatal care team members such as medical providers, midwives, doulas, and lactation specialists to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned to support the team and fulfill organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving Black birthing families, addressing their unique mental health and wellness needs through culturally responsive care. Our team is dedicated to dismantling barriers and fostering resilience within this community, and your contribution will play a crucial role in their health journeys.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• A valid professional license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) with an emphasis on clinical practice.

• A minimum of a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration with diverse individuals, families, and interdisciplinary staff.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently while seeking assistance when necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in working with childbirth education, maternal mental health, or community health outreach are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with integrative care models and the ability to navigate complex family dynamics will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
