Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day duties will encompass a wide range of activities aimed at supporting the mental health of students:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' psychosocial needs and determine appropriate intervention strategies.

• Provide individualized counseling and case management for students dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics.

• Facilitate access to supportive resources, including assistance with completing forms for entitlements and community benefits.

• Advocate for students in interactions with educational and community agencies, ensuring they receive the necessary support.

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Engage in regular case conferences with educational staff to collaboratively address the needs of students.

• Identify educational opportunities for students and families, particularly in areas such as prenatal and postpartum care.

• Participate in the development of wellness programs that promote mental health and resilience among students.

• Follow up with patients who have missed appointments, ensuring continuity of care and engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will directly engage with a diverse population of students, including those from varied socioeconomic backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health challenges. By providing tailored support, you will play an instrumental role in their emotional and academic success, helping them navigate their unique challenges and aspirations.

Qualifications\n

This position requires the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field.

• Certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is strongly preferred.

• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for candidates who bring five (5) years of experience.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.

• Proficiency in technology, particularly with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and case management software.

Preferred Experience\n
