Work Environment\n

This position is designed for remote work but operates within a school setting that emphasizes collaboration with educational staff and school administration. As a member of our community mental health team, you will have the flexibility to navigate your schedule while making significant contributions to the mental health of students. You will engage in regular virtual meetings to coordinate care, share best practices, and discuss client progress with other professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ mental health needs, developing personalized treatment plans to address their unique challenges.

• Provide direct clinical services including individual therapy, group sessions, and crisis intervention for students, coordinating effective treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing.

• Manage case documentation and follow-up services in compliance with state regulations and best practices, ensuring timely responses to referrals and crises.

• Collaborate with educational staff, medical professionals, and other stakeholders during multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure seamless support for students.

• Design and implement outreach initiatives that promote mental wellness within the school community, facilitating workshops and resources that empower students and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary client base will consist of students from various backgrounds facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral issues. You will work closely with children and adolescents, tailoring your approach to their developmental needs and collaborating with families to provide holistic support that fosters their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active Pennsylvania state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the behavioral health sector, focusing on direct clinical service.
