Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at assessing and addressing the physical needs of our patients. Daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial consultations with patients to thoroughly assess their physical condition and related symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction through physical examinations and formulating tailored treatment plans to address individual needs.
• Educating patients on proper therapeutic exercises and techniques to facilitate recovery and improve mobility.
• Administering hands-on therapies, including manual therapy, massage, and other modalities to promote healing.
• Supporting patients in utilizing assistive equipment, such as wheelchairs or walkers, safely and effectively.
• Maintaining comprehensive patient records, documenting treatment progress, goals, and outcomes in accordance with best practices.
• Providing guidance to patients and their families regarding in-home treatment options, exercises, and rehabilitative strategies to enhance recovery.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.

• Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to patient care, with the ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a rehabilitation setting or with specialized training in pediatric or geriatric physical therapy will be preferred. Additionally, a minimum of two years in the field is advantageous for this role. Compensation and Benefits
