Business Development Coordinator, Litigation

Job Description The Business Development Coordinator supports the litigation business development (BD) team with client and prospective client requests, event logistics coordination and departmental system maintenance. This position works with members of the BD team to provide administrative business development support to attorneys in the designated practice groups. The Business Development Coordinator works under general supervision and relies on limited experience and guidelines to plan and accomplish goals. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Compile client and prospective client requested information and draft responses for requests for proposals (RFP’s) and pitches, track results and prepare summary reports Track client information in the client relationship management (CRM) system Collect and coordinate matter tracking information in the firm’s central matter tracking system Assist with event management and logistics, including supporting speaker outreach and coordination, program management, reporting and various logistics Coordinate webinars, including coordinating with the marketing team to prepare invitation, compiling invite list in CRM system, securing CLE credit, liaising with lawyers on materials, and handling logistics for execution of the webinar Gather information and details for legal directory and league table submissions Create and update business development collateral, including brochures, one-pagers and presentations Draft entries for legal awards and nominations Prepare lists for targeting from our internal CRM and other external platforms for various events and initiatives Assist with various administrative and project management tasks Develop strong working relationships with practice attorneys and other members of the BD team Compile business and industry research in support of new business opportunities Job Specifications Bachelor’s degree At least two (2) years of related work experience Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) Familiarity with client relationship management (CRM) software Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities Ability to handle and maintain confidential information Benefits and Compensation Successful candidates will receive a competitive total rewards package, including performance-based bonuses, with a target hiring range of $72,000 – $90,000. Full‑time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
