Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions via video chat with clients needing support for various mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients consist of stable adults facing low-acuity mental health concerns. This role does not involve managing severe mental health conditions, enabling counselors to focus their interventions on individuals who are generally well-functioning but require support for issues such as anxiety, stress management, and life transitions. The Center for Discovery Therapy Collective uses a matching system to pair counselors with clients that meet their specializations and demographic preferences, enhancing the therapeutic relationship and treatment efficacy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must possess a current, unrestricted license to practice independently as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) , or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) .

• No provisional licenses or disciplinary actions on record.
\n
• Strong evaluation, decision-making, and treatment planning abilities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills coupled with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.

• Proficiency in using technology for telehealth sessions and client management systems.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience conducting remote counseling and using telehealth tools.
