Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, complete diagnostic and functional evaluations, and collaborate with primary care providers to establish applicable treatment goals and plans.

• Provide focused therapeutic interventions for patients requiring immediate mental health support, ensuring adherence to established Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.
\n
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting therapy strategies as necessary and developing relapse prevention plans to help maintain stable functioning.
\n
• Communicate with primary care providers to assess which patients can be treated effectively within the primary care ambit and which require referrals to specialized mental health facilities.
\n
• Document all patient interactions, progress, and diagnostic information accurately in treatment charts, maintaining high standards for record-keeping.
\n
• Deliver consultations regarding behavioral health services, contributing insights into program evaluation, effectiveness, and outcome measures.
\n
• Assist patients in developing self-management skills and strategies to navigate their treatments, focusing on empowering them towards informed recovery.
\n
• Adhere to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals, ensuring that care is always patient-centered and ethical.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the ongoing development of our patient care programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be to deliver mental health services to a diverse patient population affected by a myriad of challenges. You'll work with individuals from different demographic backgrounds, including veterans, who may be experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns. Understanding the unique circumstances faced by these patients will be crucial in tailoring interventions to meet their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) License, allowing for practice in Arizona.

• A solid foundation in mental health assessment, treatment planning, family therapy systems, and psychotherapeutic techniques.

• Proficient understanding of DSM-IV diagnoses and behavioral therapy methodologies.
\n
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of community resources and their effective integration into patient care plans.

• Excellent communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

• Capable of assessing individual patient needs and adapting services accordingly.

Preferred Experience\n

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable but not mandatory.

• Experience in a clinical setting dealing with patients from diverse backgrounds, especially veterans or those with complex psychosocial needs.

• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote patient management.
\n
• Prior experience working in a community health clinic or with Federally Qualified Health Centers is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 87,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
