We require an effective supervisor who can produce innovative menus and recipes, oversee all food leaving the kitchen, and guarantee health and safety regulations are met. Responsibilities Review and track team member performance objectives, as well as offer guidance and assistance to support and promote an efficient kitchen. Incorporate different ingredients in a creative way to produce fresh and innovative menu items and specials. Exceed guest expectations while increasing sales and profits and overseeing the success of day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen. Work with vendors to secure the best items at cost-effective pricing, and manage department expenses that are within your direct control such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment. Ensure that all food preparation, including processes, portioning, and garnishing, is well supervised, and confirm that the finished dishes are visually appealing. Qualifications Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements. At least 7-8 years of culinary experience. This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team. Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers.
