This position is ideal for a payroll professional with experience processing multi-state payroll and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll while supporting employees and management with payroll-related inquiries and reporting.ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll for employees accurately and on timeReview and validate employee timekeeping records and payroll dataMaintain payroll records, earnings, deductions, garnishments, and tax informationEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsProcess new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, and employee status updatesReconcile payroll reports and investigate discrepanciesAssist with payroll tax filings and year-end activities, including W-2 preparationRespond to employee payroll questions and resolve payroll-related issuesGenerate payroll reports and assist with audits as neededCollaborate with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure accurate employee and payroll data
