Key Responsibilities\n

• Administer detailed assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including frequency and severity.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and mental health goals.

• Engage in delivering evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote recovery.

• Provide psychoeducation and support for both clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-coping strategies.

• Consistently monitor clients’ progress, documenting changes and adjusting treatment plans as required.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated care approach.

• Stay informed of current research and clinical developments in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapy strategies.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring client confidentiality is preserved.

• Actively participate in case discussions, team meetings, and professional workshops aimed at enhancing skills and sharing best practices.

• Advocate for client needs, promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mood disorders in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse clientele impacted by mood disorders, primarily within school settings. This includes students of varying ages facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, and other emotional disturbances. By fostering a supportive relationship, you will help clients navigate their personal struggles and enhance their ability to succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of three years of therapeutic experience, focusing significantly on mood disorders.

• Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Understanding of psychopharmacology and capacity for effective inter-professional collaboration.

• Demonstrated success in managing and positively influencing client outcomes.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills and an ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of three years of licensed experience is required, candidates with experience specifically in educational settings or working with children and adolescents are highly preferred. Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration in school systems and expertise in cultural competence will be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
