Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs and formulate personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that prioritize their unique circumstances.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other evidence-based techniques to deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community and understanding around common mental health challenges.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care, addressing both psychological and emotional needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate therapeutic interventions.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to promote ongoing care and recovery.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, continuous learning efforts, and team meetings to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is essential.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
