However, as needed, counselors may also engage in teletherapy sessions in our outpatient office, which provides a serene and confidential environment. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients to develop individual treatment plans tailored to their specific mental health concerns.

• Deliver high-quality individual therapy featuring evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring that each session is personally relevant to the client.

• Collaborate with clients to set meaningful therapeutic goals and monitor their accomplishments throughout the treatment journey.

• Offer teletherapy services to accommodate clients’ preferences and accessibility needs, ensuring seamless support regardless of location.

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies, providing timely updates on assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Engage in continuous professional development opportunities, such as workshops and training sessions, to enhance clinical skills and stay current with the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The mental health counselors at OptiMindHealth Behavioral Center serve a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, who present with a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Counselors will be committed to understanding and addressing the unique experiences and cultural backgrounds of each client, fostering a therapeutic alliance built on trust and respect.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; however, candidates with a master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology will be given preference.

• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills necessary for establishing a safe and nurturing therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy and a non-judgmental attitude to support clients through their mental health challenges.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle a caseload, including administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

An ideal candidate will have experience working in outpatient settings and will demonstrate familiarity with various therapeutic modalities. Experience in teletherapy is also preferred, as our practice recognizes the importance of remote therapy in today's world. Candidates with additional certifications such as Trauma-Informed Care or Cultural Competency training will be highly regarded.
