Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to determine clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and the resources at their disposal.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans with achievable goals and tailored interventions designed to meet each client's unique needs.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all clients.

• Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary for the best outcomes.

• Facilitate crisis interventions and risk assessments, providing support as clients navigate challenging situations.

• Document all interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in a timely and ethical manner, adhering to all legal and professional standards.

• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes aimed at enhancing clients' understanding of mental health and coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.
