Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients receiving therapy.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly utilizing CBT or Psychodynamic Therapy methodologies.

• Maintain accurate and timely client records within our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with colleagues to share insights and enhance treatment approaches.

• Participate in administrative meetings and training sessions aimed at enhancing clinical skills and policy adherence.

• Address diverse client needs by providing culturally competent counseling to individuals from various backgrounds.

• Manage a caseload of a minimum of 25 clients, employing flexible scheduling to meet client availability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults aged 18 and older, with the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including those from minority communities and the LGBTQIA+ community. This requires a sensitivity to and understanding of complex mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. We aim to provide a safe space for every client, ensuring sensitivity to their unique experiences and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active LCSW license to practice in the State of Illinois.

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience.

• Proficiency with telehealth tools and electronic health record systems.
