Work Environment\n

The LCSW will work remotely but maintain a presence within local schools, collaborating closely with educational staff and administrators to address the mental health needs of students. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including the potential for on-call coverage during and after program hours. You will contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and responsive environment for all students, connecting them with essential resources and care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver direct clinical services to students facing serious mental health issues, providing assessments and therapy in both individual and group settings.

• Collaborate with school staff, educators, and families to develop and implement integrated care plans tailored to meet each student's unique needs.

• Conduct developmental screenings and risk assessments, determining the appropriateness of additional services when necessary.

• Facilitate crisis intervention when required, ensuring that immediate support is available for students in distress.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and reports in accordance with organizational and compliance standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to the development of program improvements and quality assurance initiatives.

• Ensure safety protocols are implemented, identifying and reporting any unsafe situations within the school environment.

This position primarily focuses on assisting students from diverse backgrounds who may be experiencing significant emotional or behavioral challenges. Your role will be critical in advocating for and supporting these individuals, working to empower them in their journey toward improved mental health and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• An active LCSW license in the state of New Jersey is required.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically dealing with adolescents and children, is essential.

• Strong understanding of developmental needs and age-related issues for the populations served.

• Proficient in both verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience working within school environments or with youth populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this role is annually between USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
