Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Palm Bay, Florida. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced technology and state-of-the-art treatment modalities. We pride ourselves on being a privately-owned practice, catering predominantly to patients with private medical insurance, allowing for personalized attention and quality care. Our team comprises two experienced physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all of whom are committed to exceptional patient service and professional excellence.

Work Environment

The physical therapist will work in a friendly, collaborative atmosphere located in the heart of Palm Bay. Our outpatient office operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensively assess patients' needs, and collaborate with them to establish attainable goals and treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload with a focus on quality, dedicating an hour for each patient to ensure thorough and personalized care.
• Execute effective physical therapy treatments aimed at improving the mobility and overall health of patients.
• Promote alternatives to surgical interventions and medication reliance through innovative treatment methodologies.
• Craft detailed care plans that incorporate diverse treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Provide motivation and support to patients, encouraging lifestyle changes to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Engage in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Regularly monitor progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and document all patient care provided in our EMR system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic predominantly serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those seeking to enhance their physical performance. As a therapist at Core Motion, you will work closely with a diverse clientele, ranging from athletes to elderly patients requiring assistance with mobility. Your expertise will be essential in guiding patients through their recovery process and helping them achieve significant improvements in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program; candidates with a Master's degree may also be considered.
• Hold a valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Exhibit a clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions related to licensure.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong capability to design and implement effective exercise regimes.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software is required, with a preference for experience in WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation techniques or specialization in sports medicine will be considered a strong asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
