Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs, goals, and functional limitations, crafting individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Manage a caseload effectively, typically treating one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and consistent communication with each patient.
• Employ a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, to promote joint mobility and enhance physical function.
• Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs to support each patient's specific rehabilitation needs.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, making adjustments as necessary to optimize patient recovery and success.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, providing continuous support to foster adherence to treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment interventions thoroughly, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Encourage lifestyle modifications that contribute to improved physical health, including advice on strength-building activities and coordination exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and conditions affecting movement and quality of life. You will work with individuals of varying ages, from active youth to older adults, all requiring specialized rehabilitation to regain their mobility and function. As a physical therapist, your role will involve understanding their unique needs and developing effective strategies to meet their goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with no disciplinary history or board actions against your license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for working with diverse patient populations and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, is preferable to facilitate efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated competence in developing individualized exercise protocols that address patients' unique rehabilitation needs.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
