Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' individual goals and requirements during initial evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload ensuring the provision of one-on-one sessions with each patient, dedicating focused time to their rehabilitation.
• Implement varied treatment modalities including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate diverse treatment strategies, aimed at enhancing range of motion and functional mobility.
• Motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, providing encouragement and support to foster adherence to treatment regimens.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluating outcomes and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs and goals.
• Document patient care services meticulously, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining clear communication with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide education and resources on lifestyle modifications that promote strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment approach for each individual.
• Maintain an updated knowledge of best practices within the field of physical therapy, striving for continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on treating orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As part of our team, you will engage with a diverse patient demographic, helping each person navigate their unique rehabilitation journey. Your expertise will play a critical role in empowering patients to attain their mobility goals and restore their independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating hands-on skill and patient-centered care.
• Exceptional ability to design and implement effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficient in the use of EMR Software systems, particularly WebPT, for streamlined documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desired.
• Demonstrated expertise in varied physical therapy modalities and patient rehabilitation strategies.
• Ability to foster strong therapeutic relationships, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits
