About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to take on a pivotal role in shaping the brand's presence and narrative, particularly in the context of young adult well-being. This senior marketing leader will be responsible for defining and refining the company's market narrative, positioning, and voice, with a focus on payers, public sector partners, and the broader conversation around mental health. The successful candidate will be the first senior marketing hire and will build the marketing function from the ground up, working closely with the executive team to develop strategies that are both authentic to the young adult experience and compliant with the highly regulated nature of the industry. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Marketing include architecting and running a growth engine for B2B/B2G, developing thought leadership, and creating sales enablement tools. The role demands a hands-on approach, with the expectation that the VP will be involved in the creation of content and campaigns, and will make data-driven decisions to optimize performance. The ideal candidate will have 7-14 years' of experience in B2B marketing, particularly in health insurance, healthcare services, or related areas, and a proven track record of elevating a brand's presence in the market. They should be comfortable with experimentation, adept at translating complex products into simple narratives, and thrive in high-growth, dynamic environments.
