Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, formulate accurate clinical diagnoses, and collaboratively develop effective treatment plans that are responsive to each client’s individual strengths and weaknesses.

• Provide tailored therapeutic services including individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions. Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and others to address clients' unique needs.

• Facilitate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and crisis management strategies.

• Maintain accurate documentation that upholds the highest standards of confidentiality, including writing treatment plans, progress notes, and conducting regular evaluations of client progress.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, other therapists, and healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care that addresses both mental health and primary health needs.

• Educate clients and their families about diverse mental health issues, available treatment options, and community-based resources, advocating for their needs and rights when necessary.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training programs, workshops, and peer consultations to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in California as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
