Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' backgrounds and treatment needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique experiences and recovery goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a therapeutic environment to help clients process trauma and learn coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during moments of acute distress or trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available community resources to promote understanding and encourage healing.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Quail Run Health System specializes in providing care for individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma syndromes, and dissociative disorders. Our client base encompasses a diverse demographic, ranging from children to adults, each of whom brings unique challenges and experiences related to trauma. Your contributions as a therapist will play a pivotal role in their recovery and resilience-building processes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within California.

• Strong theoretical background and practical knowledge in trauma-informed care principles and methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients while maintaining a compassionate, supportive stance in all interactions.

• Capability to manage high-stress situations professionally and provide adequate emotional support to clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems necessary for accurate client documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
