Work Environment\n

This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely, allowing for flexibility while being part of an interdisciplinary team. You will collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and various healthcare professionals to provide innovative and cohesive treatment. Our work hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some evening hours required on a rotating basis to accommodate client appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use concerns, identifying the presence of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans integrating evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique needs.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy, focusing on helping clients acquire essential coping skills, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation strategies.

• Coordination of care with our multidisciplinary team, ensuring that the treatment provided is well-rounded and addresses the complexity of co-occurring disorders.

• Perform regular substance use monitoring and employ motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client engagement and support their recovery journeys.

• Educate clients and their families about the connection between mental health and substance use disorders, underscoring the significance of treatment adherence.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of treatment progress, following ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing training programs to refine skills and knowledge around treating co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients coping with the complexities of both mental health challenges and substance use disorders. These individuals often face significant barriers in their recovery process; your understanding of their unique needs and your personalized, evidence-driven approach will directly contribute to their progress and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies tailored to co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that support effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Applicants with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with individuals diagnosed with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders are strongly preferred. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and a background in community health settings will further enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
