Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic interventions aimed at facilitating recovery and building resilience.

• Utilize techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients in processing trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for patients to share their experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, case managers, and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms that enhance recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, ensuring quality assurance in client care.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care, sharing insights and learning from colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be serving individuals who have experienced trauma and are facing related mental health challenges. This includes clients grappling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders. Our client demographics vary widely, and your skills will contribute to creating a personalized and effective therapeutic experience for each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused care.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, including applicable treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

• Experience in providing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster a compassionate relationship with clients.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and navigate complex emotional landscapes.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this role is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
