A full time Intake and Billing Specialist is needed for a growing healthcare organization in Monsey. This role is ideal for a detail oriented and organized professional with hands-on experience in patient intake, insurance verification, prior authorizations, and full cycle medical billing. The position is fully in office and offers a supportive, female office environment.

The Intake and Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the intake process from start to finish, ensuring all patient information is collected accurately, authorizations are obtained in a timely manner, and claims are submitted and followed through efficiently. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast paced healthcare setting are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Handle patient intake and onboarding
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Obtain and manage prior authorizations
• Perform full cycle medical billing and claims submission
• Follow up on claims, denials, and payments
• Communicate with insurance companies and internal teams
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation
• Ensure compliance with healthcare and billing regulations
