This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with clients through telehealth sessions. Our outpatient counseling center focuses on creating a supportive online environment where counselors conduct appointments at times that best suit their and their clients' schedules, promoting an ideal work-life balance. We utilize secure platforms for video conferencing and electronic medical records (EMR) systems to maintain client confidentiality and ensure streamlined communication.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to formulate personalized treatment plans based on clients' unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through video sessions to individuals, couples, families, and groups for issues ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex mental health challenges.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy tailored to each client's situation.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintain meticulous and accurate clinical records for each client encounter, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adults, couples, and families facing a wide array of mental health issues, such as trauma, substance abuse, workplace stress, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Star Mental Health Services offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
