Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ unique trauma histories and facilitate the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Implementing individualized treatment strategies driven by evidence-based practices, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at guiding patients through trauma processing, strengthening coping mechanisms, and fostering overall healing.

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to guarantee integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and emotional well-being.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential clinical documentation in compliance with industry legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
