Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to form individualized treatment plans.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, tailored to their unique needs.

• Employing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care that addresses the whole person.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge of mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals and families with limited access to traditional mental health services. Our clients face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your role is critical in helping them navigate these challenges and empowering them on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably in a clinical environment.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients.

• Proficient in using EMR software and related technologies to manage client records and facilitate documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Specialization in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred:
