Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychiatric and psychosocial assessments, including mental status examinations, to evaluate the needs of individuals seeking care.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique circumstances and goals of each patient, utilizing evidenced-based practices.
\n
• Provide a range of therapeutic services including individual, couples, family, psychoeducation, and group therapy, employing creative methods such as role-playing, modeling, and social skills training to enhance effectiveness.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records of all patient interactions, including documentation of therapy sessions, treatment progress, and outcome measurements as per organizational protocol.

• Remain actively engaged with referral sources and coordinate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for each patient.
\n
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and adjust treatment plans in response to ongoing evaluations of patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor at MultiCare will serve a varied patient population experiencing behavioral health challenges. You will work with individuals facing mental illnesses, behavioral disorders, and co-occurring disorders, striving to provide culturally competent care that recognizes and respects the diverse backgrounds of our clients. Your therapeutic interventions will focus on promoting resilience, improving coping strategies, and facilitating emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field is required.
\n
• Active licensure in the State of Washington as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• A minimum of three years of direct experience in providing mental health care is essential for this role.
\n
• Excellent writing skills for producing clear and comprehensive clinical notes and intake reports.
\n
• Strong time management abilities to effectively handle a caseload and meet patient needs in a timely manner.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with outpatient treatment settings and understanding of community resources would be beneficial.

• Comfort using electronic health record systems for documentation and case management is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
