Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document case histories from initial assessment through follow-up care.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for clients, adapting to their evolving needs and circumstances.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Regularly assess and adjust intervention plans in collaboration with other mental health professionals, primary care physicians, and support staff.

• Provide educational resources and coping strategies to clients and their families, promoting a holistic approach to treatment.

• Maintain ongoing communication with psychiatrists regarding client medications and treatment adjustments.
\n
• Identify barriers to recovery and engage with clients to develop strategies that mitigate these issues.

• Support families in understanding and managing mental health challenges within their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele including individuals, couples, and families facing a range of mental health issues. This may include anxiety disorders, depression, grief, trauma, and addiction-related challenges. Your empathetic approach will enable clients to navigate their journeys towards recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Satisfactory completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, showcasing your aptitude for both documentation and client interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating a strong understanding of clinical practices and intervention strategies.
