SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable Assistant supports vendor communication, ensuring that requests are processed in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors Responsible for promoting culture of safety Review and resolve internal A/P helpdesk tickets Resolve incoming vendor inquiries through the AP Help email inbox Answer incoming vendor calls received in the A/P phone queue Perform other duties as assigned Perform all work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong attention to detail Proficient time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledgeable in MS Office Experience in Prophet 21 desirable

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma required 2 to 4 years accounts receivable or general accounting experience preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer and other equipment. Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to _25_ pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.

PPE REQUIRED:

Wrist rests for keyboard and mouse pad.
