This role is offered as a remote therapy position, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort of your home while still being part of a supportive clinic environment. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary to accommodate the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments that explore patients' unique backgrounds and guide the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources, fostering empowerment and understanding.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance with best practices in privacy.

• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient cases, share insights, and enhance the clinic's cultural competence.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A robust understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and the importance of cultural responsiveness in therapy.

• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy using culturally competent strategies.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the capability to handle challenging situations with poise.
