Position Overview

The Mental Health & Addictions Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Establish trust and create a safe, therapeutic environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnosis of mental health disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of clients, ensuring they are evidence-based and culturally sensitive.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to engage clients effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Provide referrals to external specialists when necessary, maintaining a supportive network for your patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include individuals and families dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and addiction challenges. Our diverse patient population ranges from children to elders, each requiring a tailored approach to their mental health concerns. Qualifications

• A valid and active LMFT license in Massachusetts.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong therapeutic relationships and motivate clients through challenging circumstances.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and compassionate interactions with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in addiction counseling and knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Prior experience working with a diverse clientele, understanding the cultural and social factors that impact mental health.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
