About the Position

Seeking a Locum  PA to provide trauma surgery coverage in Robbinsdale, MN . The provider will function as a trauma hospitalist , managing admitted patients, responding to ED trauma alerts , performing procedures, and collaborating with trauma surgeons. This role offers exposure to adult and adolescent trauma patients , ICU and non-ICU care, and high-acuity procedural experience.

Shift Timings:
• Ongoing coverage May–July, up to full-time
• In-house only, no call
• Average 10–14 admitted patients/day (non-ICU), 6/day ICU, 2–15/day ED admissions

Requirements

• Board Certified PA-C (No FNPs)

• Active MN license

• ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications

• Minimum 1 year inpatient experience (trauma, ICU, or orthopedic preferred)

• Local candidates preferred

• Self-Query NPDB current at presentation

• DEA verbal confirmation at name clear
