Work Environment

This position requires working onsite, primarily within patients' homes, thus ensuring a personalized therapeutic approach. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, dedicated to maximizing patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Valleywise, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their individual needs and goals.
• Designing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans that address the unique requirements of patients across diverse specialties such as orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Delivering high-quality therapeutic care, utilizing manual techniques and modalities consistent with the physician's plan of care.
• Providing education and support to patients and their caregivers, enabling them to engage actively in their recovery process.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience and contribute to the overall efficacy of our therapy services.
• Meeting defined productivity goals and other organizational metrics to ensure client and business success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse array of patients, from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults rehabilitating from surgeries. Your role will focus on creating individualized treatment strategies that resonate with the patient's age, abilities, and specific health challenges. This approach not only aids recovery but also fosters ongoing relationships built on trust and respect.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two (2) years of professional experience working as a Physical Therapist.
• A current CPR certification to ensure patient safety.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interactions with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and other computer skills relevant to documentation and patient interaction.
• A genuine ability to build and maintain relationships with patients and their families, ensuring their engagement in the recovery process.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home health care or community-based therapy settings is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a background in specialty areas such as pediatrics or sports medicine will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. This includes:
