Work Environment

The position is primarily onsite, involving travel to patients' residences throughout the Edison area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations that assess patients' physical conditions, functional abilities, and personal goals.
• Establish individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, ensuring they cater to the unique circumstances of each patient.
• Utilize both hands-on techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to patient needs to facilitate pain relief, enhance mobility, and promote functional independence.
• Incorporate various modalities, such as heat, ice, or electrical stimulation, into treatment plans to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families about proper body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise recommendations.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and specialists to provide holistic and comprehensive patient care.
• Document treatment interventions and outcomes diligently to maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those dealing with chronic pain, elderly patients facing mobility challenges, and athletes rehabilitating from injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
