Senior Accountant Arapahoe County , CO Direct Hire Accounting $85K to $115K 08/04/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $115,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Manage day to day accounting activities including financial transactions account maintenance and reporting functions. Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements while ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Oversee project accounting activities by monitoring costs budgets and financial performance across multiple initiatives. Support payroll compliance reporting and audit related activities while maintaining accurate financial records. Develop and improve accounting processes controls and reporting procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements: A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field preferred. 5+ years of accounting experience including at least three years within a project based environment. Demonstrate strong knowledge of cost tracking revenue recognition financial reporting and budgeting practices. Possess experience managing payroll activities and supporting compliance related requirements. Use Excel at an advanced level and work effectively with accounting and financial management software. Qualifications: Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate financial performance and identify trends. Maintain exceptional attention to detail when preparing reports reconciliations and financial analyses. Communicate effectively with leadership project teams vendors and external business partners. Manage multiple priorities successfully while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
