Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including preliminary interviews and ongoing assessments to monitor changes in client status.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments, considering individual, couple, family, and group dynamics.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based practices and techniques.
\n
• Document all interactions and maintain clear and up-to-date client records in our electronic health record system.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

• Assist clients with various challenges, customizing interventions to facilitate recovery and promote positive behavioral changes.

• Follow up on the treatment progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Educate and support family members and caregivers in understanding mental health issues and strategies to improve overall family dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your work will aid individuals of all ages, from children to older adults, as well as couples and families, fostering emotional stabilization and effective coping mechanisms. With empathy and cultural competence, you will navigate the unique challenges faced by clients, addressing both their mental health needs and any underlying social dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid California licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A passed score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Compensation and Benefits\n
