Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, focusing on dermatological health, including identifying conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and skin cancers.
• Perform medical procedures, which may include biopsies, cryotherapy, and other dermatological treatments, ensuring patient comfort throughout.
• Review and analyze medical histories and diagnostic tests to assess the patient’s condition.
• Document all patient visits and communicate findings clearly to the supervising physician, ensuring coordination and continuity of care.
• Develop long-term treatment plans tailored to the individual’s needs, including prescribing medications and recommending lifestyle adjustments.
• Educate patients on skin care management and preventive health strategies, aiming to empower them with knowledge about their conditions.
• Participate in continuous learning opportunities, including attending workshops, conferences, and in-house training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, ranging from children to seniors, each presenting a variety of dermatological challenges. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with a medical focus preferably related to dermatology.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a Physician Assistant in a dermatology setting is necessary.
• Current PA license and certification from an accredited institution.

• Proficient in medical terminology and understanding dermatological procedures.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year is required, candidates with additional experience in advanced dermatological treatments or cosmetic procedures will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
