Work Environment

As an onsite provider at our hospital facility, you will work within an established practice that provides full support from a dedicated team that includes registered nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff. Our work environment promotes a fast-paced atmosphere where teamwork and communication are essential. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including medical history and physical examinations to evaluate skin-related conditions.
• Chart all clinical transactions in accordance with company policies and document patient progress regularly through electronic health records.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, such as blood tests, to assist in diagnosing dermatological conditions.
• Perform dermatological procedures including but not limited to injections, mole removal, and suturing to address patient needs effectively.
• Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and professional standards concerning patient care and documentation.
• Educate and counsel patients on treatment options, preventive measures, and self-care strategies to foster proactive health management.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions.
• Actively participate in team meetings, providing feedback and suggestions to the Medical Director to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Your focus will include a wide range of patients, addressing both cosmetic and medical dermatological concerns. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory to ensure patient safety during procedures and emergencies.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant, preferably in a dermatological setting, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems and overall computer literacy are essential skills for this role.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a cohesive healthcare team.
• Demonstrated integrity, flexibility, and a proven ability to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in performing dermatological procedures such as biopsies or laser treatments is a plus.
• Training in specialized dermatological software enhances the efficiency of patient record management.
• Experience in conducting patient education sessions or workshops will be beneficial in this role.
