Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Viability Physical Therapy, you will operate primarily in a home care setting, allowing you to deliver therapy services in a familiar and comfortable environment for your patients. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or chronic conditions in their home settings.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans that employ a combination of hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of various rehabilitation equipment.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to guide treatment methods, ensuring that every session is tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Document treatment activities, outcomes, and patient progress comprehensively, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Regularly reassess patients' conditions and adjust treatment plans as required to optimize recovery and skills development.
• Recommend appropriate assistive devices for patient support and mobility, providing training to ensure effective use.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the rehabilitation process and preventive measures, helping them to understand and engage in their care pathways.

Qualifications
