Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions to develop personalized treatment plans that address individual recovery needs and goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions including exercise routines, stretching techniques, and hands-on manual therapy to alleviate pain and promote mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently, making real-time adjustments to treatment plans as necessary for optimal patient outcomes.
• Train patients, caregivers, and family members on exercise techniques, use of assistive devices, and maintenance of physical health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, earning continuing education credits, and participating in professional organizations.
• Maintain accurate records while adhering to healthcare regulations and best practices in a home health context.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients in the home care setting recovering from injuries, surgeries, and various health conditions. This includes tailoring rehabilitation strategies for both pediatric and geriatric patients, ensuring that therapy is suited to the unique demands and capabilities of each individual. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid DPT license in the state of Florida is essential.

• Must possess excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to adjust treatment plans on the fly.
• Highly adaptable, capable of navigating various home settings and patient needs.
