Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, assessing their mobility and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic methods including exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment protocols as needed to ensure optimal recovery and achieve predefined therapeutic goals.
• Document all evaluations, treatments, and progress effectively, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on rehabilitation practices, self-care techniques, and the use of assistive devices when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse group of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, with various diagnoses that may include post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia.
