Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments of clients’ mental health status to determine their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to assist clients with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders.

• Engage in regular follow-up sessions to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and equip clients with practical coping strategies.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally appropriate techniques that resonate with our diverse clientele.

• Document treatment plans, session notes, and patient progress in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and refer clients when additional services are required.

• Participate in professional development meetings and training sessions to maintain clinical competence and enhance therapeutic techniques.

You will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and with different life experiences. Our clients may come to us dealing with severe mental health conditions or seeking support for life transitions and stressors. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
\n
• A minimum of four years of experience providing mental health counseling to individuals or groups.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build rapport and empathize with clients from different backgrounds.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and various digital communication platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
