Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Medical City Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of students and families to understand their mental health needs and formulating tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Providing psychotherapy to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic techniques suited to each unique situation.

• Maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards to ensure compliance and optimal patient care.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, child psychologists, educators, and other mental health professionals, to deliver holistic, coordinated services that enhance patient outcomes.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development through participation in case consultations and peer review meetings, thereby continually improving quality of care.

• Providing psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources to foster empowerment and informed decision-making.

• Remaining current with the latest research and developments in the mental health field, actively applying new insights to clinical practice to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting students within school settings, catering to a diverse patient population that may include children and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, learning disabilities, and other mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
